The smoother, faster Roubaix—named after the gruelling Paris-Roubaix race it has won three consecutive times—is a high-performance, endurance-focused bike that’s highly stable and efficient. Shimano 10-speed compact gearing and our new DT-Axis 2.0 wheels improve efficiency over any terrain.

Looking to ride their way to a new level of fitness, ability, and endurance, these enthusiast road riders participate in weekend club rides, Gran Fondos, and occasional races, where they can compete to improve their personal best. Wanting a high-performance bike that’s both stable and efficient, Roubaix riders value ride quality and progressive technology above all.
WHAT:
Performance-optimised frame design featuring innovative structures like our proprietary one-piece OSBB/chainstay, internal ribbing, and hollow carbon dropouts and headset cups (SL3 frames only).
WHY:
optimises weight and stiffness in every part of the frame for greater acceleration, efficiency, and handling.
HOW:
The one-piece OSBB/chainstay design resists deflection under extreme pedal loads for improved power transfer. Internally raised ribs at the BB and head tube use optimised fibre alignment to increase stiffness. And hollow dropouts and headset cups cut weight to a minimum.
WHAT:
Strategic surface shaping of the head tube/top tube/down tube junction, designed to optimise specific ride characteristics.
WHY:
Improves torsional stiffness, while maintaining the appropriate level of compliance for the Endurance Road experience.
HOW:
By manipulating the geometry of this junction, we make gains in stiffness without having to use an overly stiff fibre that would sacrifice vertical compliance. Widening the top tube and down tube eliminates flat spots behind the head tube for greater frame stiffness.
WHAT:
Internal cable routing for shifter and rear brake cables on all SL3 bikes. Compatible with mechanical and electronic components.
WHY:
Maintains clean design lines and keeps grit and grime from affecting shifting and braking performance.
HOW:
Cables are routed from the handlebars through the frame and exit near their respective components. Back cable guides are removable for easier maintenance.
WHAT:
Shaped seatstays specially moulded to accommodate In-Zertz dampers.
WHY:
Shaping increases rear-end compliance, and In-Zertz reduce vibration—the combination minimizes rider fatigue and saves weight.
HOW:
Seatstay design allows high vertical compliance over rough terrain (without sacrificing lateral rigidity), and requires less carbon fibre in the layup by pulling the In-Zertz into the carbon cavity to absorb vibration. In-Zertz inserts are also used in the fork to further help mute vibration.
