WHAT:
An ultra-efficient approach to aluminium frame design that produces the optimal combination of ride properties for the experience at hand.

Increases strength and improves stiffness for the best all-around performance and handling.
HOW:
Through methodical tube shaping and enhanced weld techniques, our engineers manipulate every aspect of the frame for experience-specific performance.
WHAT:
Double-butted, swaged, and formed seat tube with a wider, “squared” shape at the bottom bracket.
WHY:
Increases BB stiffness and strength for greater power transfer.
HOW:
Through strain-gauge testing, we’ve learned that the bottom of the seat tube is the part of the bike with the highest bending stress. And since square-shaped tubes resist bending, we used butting, forming, and swaging to “square” the bottom of the seat tube for greater lateral stiffness, while keeping the top round for better torsional stiffness.
WHAT:
Strategically designed head and steerer tubes taper from 1-1/8” at the top to 1-1/2” at the crown.
WHY:
Increases strength and stiffness for greater steering precision.
HOW:
Integrating the 1-1/2” crown with a raised lower bearing adds surface area and strength, which creates a stiffer junction.
