As is traditional, we'd like to say "Happy New Year" to all of our regular and not-so-regular customers!

Peter Bissell was a rising star in cycling, the reigning Under-23 National Road Race Champion, when he suddenly and tragically died last December. Everyone who knew him was shocked, those close to him, devastated.
Sunday January 4th will see the first edition of the Peter Bissell Memorial Ride, which will start from Gosling Stadium, Welwyn Garden City, Herts at 9.00 am and will return at around 1.00pm. All are welcome.

New clothing from both 2XU and Assos is in store now ...
2XU comes from double world duathlon champion Mike Trees, who has taken a fresh look at clothing for Triathlon, Duathlon and cycling and has come up with some fantastic new designs, both practical and stylish.
Assos have added some new colours and new colour splits to their ever-popular range of designs, maintaining their message of "Sponsor Yourself" ... we think that ought to be "Treat Yourself" or even "Treat Your Partner" given that the changes extend to both the men's and the ladies ranges!

02.01.08 - In Memoriam - Peter Bissell passed away on December 29th 2007. He was just 21 years old.
Peter worked for us at our Potters Bar and Finchley shops, and raced for us as a respected member of the Arctic Shorter-Rochford Racing Team, winning the National Under-23 "Espoirs" championship in 2007.
The many tributes that have been paid to him all remark on his sense of fun, his passion and his enthusiasm, all things that we will greatly miss.
All at Shorter-Rochford feel priveliged to have worked with him, and we can find no finer tribute to him than to display these two images - Peter celebrating a win in his own, inimitable style, and wearing the jersey of the National Under 23 Champion.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony was held for Peter in February 2008.
